Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll 20 tall Doll & Clothes Excellent Cond

Up for your consideration is a Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll - 20. Tall with blue eyes and honey blond hair. She has been totally restored by Cissy expert Deborah Foster of. In 2016 and is in excellent condition.

All joints work and are tight (so be careful when you pose her). This is what Deb had to say about my doll: This 1957 to mid-1959 Cissy is a color-infused doll.

When dressed in the frilly gown, the back section of her hair is untied and worn in loose curls. Unfortunately, my Cissy does not have the beautiful, #2282 frilly white gown. But she does have an original black chemise. The chemise is in good shape with a few holes (please see photos).

And a beautiful (marked Cissy/Madame Alexander) navy blue dress made of taffeta. The dress is in excellent condition without any damage. She also has a new crinoline half slip (the waist is too large so I used a safety pin to hold it up), and her original shoes that have been restored by me. I put new soles on the shoes.

She comes with her earrings, black chemise, slip, blue dress, and shoes. Please see photos as they are part of the description. Although she has been restored, there are a few marks on the body as pointed out in the photos. Here are the things that Deb restored.

Repaired & finished knee and hip split. Removed eye paint, repainted, base, shadow, lashes, brows.

Removed & balanced eye rocker. For some reason, her eyes wont close, but all her lashes are there and her eyes are. Beautiful blue and the whites of her eyes white.
