1930's Set of Madame Alexander. 12 inch Dionne Quintuplet Toddler Dolls. Composition on dolls are marked ------------- Back of Neck:'ALEXANDER. This set of dolls has had it's composition cleaned, and then all of the dolls have been professionally restrung. Dolls have all of their fingers and toes. Composition has some rubs, chips, and crazing. Dolls have open and close eyes that have crazing, and it looks like someone at one time painted a little dot in the middle of each eye, but it is hard to see.

I had a seamstress who does beautiful work make cotton seersucker dresses and bonnets. Clothing is color coordinated with each of the different girls: Annette - Yellow, Emelie - Lavender, Cecile - Green, Marie - Blue, & Yvonne - Pink.

The doll's shoes, socks, undies, and brass name pins are new replacements. IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND COMPLETE SETS OF 5 MADAME ALEXANDER DIONNE QUINTUPLET DOLLS IN ALL OF THE DIFFERENT SIZES, AND GETS HARDER TO FIND THE LARGER UP THE LADDER YOU GO.

I SEE SOME SETS OF (5) 12" DOLLS, AND THEN I MIGHT HAVE ONLY SEEN TWO OR THREE SETS OF (5) 14" DOLLS, AND I MIGHT HAVE ONLY SEEN ONE SET OF (5) 16" DOLLS, AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN A SET OF (5) 17" OR 19 MADAME ALEXANDER DIONNE QUINTUPLET DOLLS.
