1953 MA Madame Alexander Alexanderkin WENDY KIN QUIZ-KIN DOLL in Dress (2202)

This is one of our treasured 1953 Madame Alexander-kin Wendy Kin QUIZ-KIN Dolls that is so difficult to find with such a precious face. She is marked ALEX on her back and has Yes-No Buttons on her back (head moves slightly forward on Yes and to one side for No when buttons are pushed). She has the heavy legs and note that rubber band inside appears to be thin. She has a stunning face, ruby red lips and is a rare redhead with a pink satin bow that is affixed to the top of her head (bow has a few rubs-marks on the center tie are). Her gorgeous cheek color is really nice with one tiny circular rub on her right cheek (photo 10).

Her gorgeous blue eyes flutter open and closed easily. Her body, arms and legs are in good condition with some random marks or rubs on them.

She can stand but recommend a doll stand to securely display her. Her pretty Kin Dress is a soft pastel pink and closes in the back with 2 signature square snaps. Dress is in nice, clean condition with a touch of unraveling to one seam near the opening on back side hem area. She wears a pair of Kin underwear which is relaxed at waist and note on back center seam that one of her buttons has caused the seam to tear open in center area where the button presses against it (photo 4). She has a more current white half-slip that is stiff and make her dress display nicely.

She wears more current beige slip-on Kin shoes with smooth bottoms. Shoes have some light wear or rubs on them but complete the outfit nicely.

Socks do have some pulls and a bit of unraveling to them. She is really quite an unusual Quiz-Kin because she is so beautiful and has been very special to us. She truly catches your eye across a room.
