ANTIQUE 1930s TAGGED 21 Madame Alexander COMPOSITION WENDY ANN Doll EXC COND

This 1930s Madame Alexander Wendy Ann doll is a beautiful addition to any collection. With blonde, wavy mohair hair, blue eyes that open and close, and articulated limbs, this 21 inch doll is a true collectors dream. She is in excellent condition with bright rose knees and elbows, complete set of lashes and high color face makeup. All fingers and toes are intact, her composition body is in gorgeous condition with some very light crazing lines. She has lines on each arm with paint missing. They are NOT cracks to the composition body itself, but lines, skips, or scratches to the actual paint, as they don't go any further and don't look like crazing cracks as nothing spiders off of them. The set includes a purse or muff bag, dress with attached cotton slip, shoes, underwear, floral bow headpiece, and of course the doll herself, all in excellent condition. She has an her original mohair wig attached which still has original bobby pins attached. Wendy Ann production began in 1936, and these 21 dolls, especially in this condition are hard to come by! Her beautiful light pink to coral dress is tagged with: Madame Alexander New York USA. I couldn't see any marking on her neck, and if there is one, it's very hard to see. I took a picture just in case. Don't let this beauty pass you by, her gorgeous bright blue eyes close when laid down. She is definitely a stunning example of Madame Alexander's quality of dolls.
