Gorgeous VTG Alexander CISSY 1958 TAGGED SOLID TAFFETA COCKTAIL Dress Super Nice
Up for your Cissy enjoyment, is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy iconic Green taffeta cocktail dress from 1958. It is a solid taffeta dress with a puff sleeve in a beautiful iridescent green that sometimes looks a little blue. This dress is usually pretty hard to find with its lovely rich green taffeta. It is Pictured in the book the Cissy Files on page 53. The dress could use a steaming but I will leave that up to the new owner.
The tag is nice and crisp. Now Im not sure but, the dress may have been laundered but not by me. It is nice and crisp with lots of sizing in the dress. The bowtie is nice and white and Stiff. There is a very tiny bit of seam fraying in the waist And Ive taken a picture of it.
I just about missed it. Cissy looks adorable trying to figure out what pearls she needs To wear With it today!
I think this style would look sensational on a redhead However, it looks pretty amazing on a blonde or brunette. This dress comes from my personal collection and comes from a non-smoking home. This outfit has only been gently displayed and has no odors! Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description.
