This is the 1997 doll set Madame Alexander produced in the Lucy series. It is from the well-known "CHOCOLATE FACTORY" scene that Lucy Ricardo and Ethel Mertz played in one of their most famous episode, JOB SWITCHING. One of the classics from the first season! These dolls were designed exclusively for FAO Schwartz and this is noted on the hangtags.
It's role reversal time, as Ricky and Fred become house-husbands, and Lucy and Ethel get jobs wrapping chocolates in a candy factory. A simple jog---until the candy conveyor belt starts moving faster than they can wrap! It's high-calorie hi-jinks galore, in one of Lucy's all-time classic scenes! FIRST AIR DATE: September 15, 1952.
