This beautiful Madame Alexander 8 doll is a Wendy Dressed for the Maypole Dance or Wendy Dances Around the Maypole. She is a hard-plastic straight leg walker doll from 1955 and the outfit is numbered 458. Wendy is dressed in a very light blue taffeta dress with a tiny lace trimmed organdy yolk and lace frills sewn under the hemline. A perfect coronet of rosettes on her head gives this outfit a festive flare. Wendy wears a cotton slip and matching pantaloons. Her terrific shoes have fuzzy bottoms.
