1930's stunning composition strung 21 Sonja Henie doll by the Madame Alexander Company New York. She has her original green velvet costume which has some fading, is tagged Sonja Henie, green tulle pleated attached slip for fullness, and matching panties. She has a matching hair bow. Her original rare GOLD skates are in pretty good condition except one metal blade is gone. She has an authentic Sonja Henie pin.

Sonja's composition is in excellent condition, clean and well strung. She has a beautiful blonde wig that is clean and still set in pins.

She has crazed eyes, but they are dark brown and still show well. Full eyelashes and eye shadow.

She also will come with this fur piece and a feather hair piece for some added pizazz! She is such a beautiful doll with one of the best faces I have seen, expressive, charming, and very life like. The real Sonja Henie was born in 1912 and by 1924 she had come in 8th place in the Winter Olympics.

Became ice skating World Champion in 1927. In the 30's and 40's she became an actress and by 1939 she was one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood.

She was an astute business woman and in 1956 she was one of the 10 wealthiest woman in the world. She died in 1969 at the age of 57 of leukemia.
