Her blue eyes and red lips complete her charming look. Common to dolls of this era, Lissy's eyes prefer the open position, close with help. Her lavender checked dress is accented with "pearls" and crochet lace. She wears white stockings and white and black side button boots.
Lissy's butterfly is attached to her right hand. The right wing has a separation but it is intact. As the 2007 convention was held in New Orleans, I believe Lissy is a nod to the Butterfly Pavilion at the Audubon Zoo. This beautiful doll is Minty and Very Rare from the Jarvis years. There is a handwritten card from the dress designer, Pat Mathisson. I removed Lissy from her box one time, she is superb. My home is smoke and pet free and all dolls are stored inside in a climate controlled closet. Cushion packing inside and out.
