Madame Alexander Cissy Doll Queen Elizabeth II 1955-56 Near MINT

Madame Alexander Cissy Queen Elizabeth II doll is Circa 1955 and is in near mint condition and still has her original hang tag. This beautiful doll is made of hard plastic with rubber articulated arms and jointed legs/knees. She has no breaks or splits and is still nicely strung. Features bright blush, rosy lips, and full lashed sleep eyes. Her hair is still in its tight coiffeur with curls held in place with her original hair net.

A lovely tiara adorns her hair and pretty rhinestone drop earrings accent her ears. Queen Elizabeth is dressed in a full court gown of white brocade that is adorned with metal and pearl rosettes, jewels, and a blue sash.

She also wears long white fingerless gloves with three bracelets of rhinestones and rubies. Underneath her gorgeous dress is a full white petticoat slip with white matching panties. She is wearing her original hose and silver heels that fit her perfectly.

The tagged crispy dress, slip, sash, and all under garments are all in perfect near mint condition with no holes, tears, fading, etc. Cissy has a tiny reddish spot on her left lower jaw just under the earring (see photo 11). I assume that the spot may have been caused by the earring. Also, there is some very slight discoloration on the dress and sash fabric caused by the metal jewels. This wonderful doll comes from a non-smoking, pet free environment.
