Madame Alexander Snow White Composition Doll 13in 1939-1940 All Original Antique

This little 13 composition Madame Alexander Snow White doll is from a local estate. Both Snow White and her clothing are very clean. Her dress looks like she just came out of the box yesterday, and her composition is in wonderful condition. She is free from crazing, and the only crack that I found is under her chin. It is visible in the fifth photo. Snow White's celluloid sleep eyes have glazed, as is frequently the case with dolls from her era, but she has all of her eyelashes, and her eyes work perfectly. Mohair wig has thinned a bit but there are no bald spots or major damage.

Snow White is wearing her original clothing, including her cute "high heel" shoes, rayon socks, and linen bloomers. Her original, tagged dress is pink taffeta with an aqua blue velvet bodice, and she has a blue taffeta cape with a wide pink collar to match. The outfit would be in perfect condition except for a little bit of soiling on the back of the cape's collar.

This is an adorable old doll in remarkable, original condition. She would be an asset to any collection.
