When restoring these 75 year old + dolls, great care is taken in having them look like they did when they were mint & new.

Color is vibrant, Finish is satiny, features are complete and great effort has been taken to replicate the originality from the factory. She is marked Alexander faintly on the back of her head. Her outfit is Factory made and of her day and style, but not original.

Dress is dimity floral with a Organdy pinafore. Hat is vintage straw with old millinery. Good vintage shoes and socks. These girls have the prettiest faces. More beauties listed, so please take a look.

Sometimes these 50-80 year old dolls just dont survive the test of time very well. Finding a skilled restorationist is as hard to find as the rare doll itself. A labor of love & mostly a lot of sanding. With these collectible pieces, I have done my best to keep the doll looking as original as possible when the doll was factory made (not what a 80 year old faded doll looks like). With that being said, These are still Vintage & Antique dolls. Composition especially has a lot of factory nuances that other materials do not have. Their imperfections are part of the charm of composition. This doll has been repaired if needed, and eyes will be clear and a appropriate color. There will be no missing fingers or toes. I use paints which are very similar to the ones used by the factory. The overhaul process includes stripping, filling, sanding, priming, airbrush painting, hand painted features & sealing. I pay special attention to the faces and they are completely smooth. I line the head socket with suede. I have been a skilled Artist all my life.
