Madelaine du Bain is from my personal collection. She is very nice example, made in 1938. She is 14' tall and composition with human hair wig and has the Wendy Ann face. She was made exclusively for the FAO Swartz department stores. She is wearing a 1880 French costume.

Her dress is light blue organdy with tiny flower print all over. Black velvet trim and bows on her dress. She has not been washed. Attached is her white cotton hoop slip and separate panties. White socks and side snap patent leather shoes are original with satin bows on each toe.

Nylon straw hat with with black satin bows and and small bunch of straw flowers on each side of her bonnet. Her hair is in its original set, is a beautiful blonde mohair wig. She is a lovely doll for her age of over 85 years. Her petticoat stand out but has a break in the wire, and her eyes are slightly faded.
