RARE C1940 Madame Alexander Madelaine du Bain Doll Strung Composition 15 Inch
This is a RARE C1940 Madame Alexander Madelaine du Bain Doll Strung Composition 15 Inch Wendy Ann. Madelaine is a clean strung all composition doll with the Wendy Ann face. Her stringing is tight and she has brown sleep eyes (crazed) with all her fur lashes.
There are painted lashes below her eyes and she has dark eye shadow. Her composition has a little bit of crazing. She has her original blond wig with blue hair bow. Her original dress is tagged Madelaine and includes a blue print skirt with pink roses, and sheer pink top.
There is brown age staining mostly to the sides of the skirt with some in front. The pink organdy sleeves have a touch of aging. The ruching on the left sleeve has come apart. She is also wearing short pantaloons with an attached lace-trimmed hoop skirt.The shoes and socks are original with bows to the front of the black leatherette side snap shoes (both shoes are missing parts of the sole and heel).
