STUNNING LADY IN RED MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY DOLL 1958 ORIGINAL WithTAG

This next one is Lady In Red and was made in 1958. She is 20 tall with hard plastic body.

She has soft vinyl jointed arms. Her knees are also jointed for posing. She is stunning in her tagged red taffeta long gown that has a wide sillouette encased in a red dotted swiss tulle wrap. The bodice has ungathered V neckline and squared off sleeves. Her skirt has deep pocket pleats.

She wears her original stockings and silver strap Cissy shoes. Accessories include a snowflake rhinestone pin, "diamond ring", added rhinestone bracelet, and rhinestone earrings. She originally had pearl necklace and earrings, but they had been replaced when I bought her.

Under her dress she wears a white taffeta full long slip inserted with wire to help the skirt stand out with matching panties. Her clothing is in excellent condition with no holes, or tears or soiling. She also has her original hand tag. Her face is lovely with long full lashes, green eyes, full brows, peach eyelids, bright cheek blush and red mouth. Her gorgeous hair is a lovely blonde color that has a specialty wig with rows of pin curls, which sets her apart from other dolls.

The doll is in excellent condition with no repaints, no odors and is clean. She does have a few black spots on the one of the eyelids.

This doll may not have been played with and is a lovely example of a Cissy from 1958. Rarer doll to find in this condition.
