Stunning Madame Alexander Cissy Doll Brunette-rare Gold Skirt, Jersey Top 1959

Cissy is 20 tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms.. She has a deep brunette wig, pulled back into a cluster of curls with 2 two small curls on her forehead. She is an infused doll with high cheek color, one stroke brows, full lashes, green eyes and red mouth. Her outfit is rare to find. It consists of a crisp gold lace skirt, with red flower corsage on side of waist, green jersey top, gold belt, and rhinestone pin. Under the skirt is a crisp yellow half slip with tulle ruffle and yellow panties. She wears full long nylon stockings and has gold high heels with red velvet flowers. Three things I have to mention. She came to me without a belt, so I made one for her.

Her shoes are reproduction, but I have her original shoes and will send them with her. The elastic was loose, so that is why I replaced them. Also the blouse she is wearing is different from most Cissy tops. The closure in back is different too and old bias tape was used on the inside of the blouse.

I presume it is correct. I got the doll from the original owner years ago and presume she is factory original.

I have nothing to compare her to, as this outfit is seldom seen. She has no cracks, rubs, odors and is in unplayed with condition. Her outfit is pictured in Kiley Shaw's Rarities and Restoration book page 82.
