Vintage 1950's Madame Alexander 20 Cissy doll Come Fly with me

Cissy reminded me of the 50's Frank Sinatra song, "Come Fly with Me"! She is all ready to go on a weekend trip back East to meet her boyfriend's parents.

Quite an exciting and a bit stressful trip! But Cissy is up to the challenge and is dressed to impress, as she always is. Cissy has on a new wool tweed skirt and sleeveless long vest. They are fully lined with a cream colored satin, as is her coat. Tiny Chinese Knot buttons decorate the front of the vest, and the vest closes with 5 square, black snaps.

Her wool coat is a soft felted wool. It has two front pockets, rolled up cuffs, and a slightly gathered collar.

Cissy is wearing vintage nylons with good elastic at the top, a nice Jean's Style girdle with great elastic, a small hat with netting that matches her skirt and vest, new black sheer gloves, and a new pair of shoes. Along with her ensemble she is wearing a new pearl type necklace and she is carrying a black vinyl shoulder purse. She has all her things she will need for her short trip in a vintage adorable doll suitcase.

(Figuratively speaking, the suitcase is empty). Cissy herself is clean and has no odors, stains, cracks or chews.

She has a professional repair done to the top of her left leg inside the socket. She has had some repaint to her chest where she had faded from display. She has had new blush added and she has a lovely matte finish. Her lips were repainted and sealed. She has piercing blue eyes with partial lash replacement in her left eye. Beautiful, full blonde that was cleaned and reset. She does have earring holes, but one has a broken earring stud in it. I could not remove it and I was afraid to cause damage to her ear if I tried any vigorous attempts. The stand and the poster are not included in this listing.
