Vintage 1950's Madame Alexander 20 Cissy doll, no wig, restored

After years of repairing and working with these dolls, I have a whole tub full of bodies and parts that are faded, cracked, stained, paint chipped, and heaven knows what. It is time to fix them up and let them begin a new life. Not for some Cissy fans, some of the dolls I will be listing in the coming weeks have had some extensive repair. Please read all information carefully and be sure these dolls are right for you. This doll is clean and has no splits, cracks, stains or odors.

The doll has had some repair. She has had her eyes removed and reset. Lashes were filled in to both eyes.

Eyes are nice and blue and open and close easily. Matte sealer was applied to face.

The doll has earring holes. The body has had repair done to the top of both legs inside the socket. Legs are a slight bit loose at the hips, but she will stand if she has something to lean against. A stand will work best for her. Also a thin repair to outside of the left knee.

The body has had a total repaint, due to scratches and fading. Matte finish sealer also applied to body.

Just as with an original paint on Cissys, there is expected slight rubs inside the sockets of the legs. It is going to happen when the doll is sat down or the legs extended forward. The arms are nice and have no rips or stains. Very pretty Cissy, ready for that special wig! I do not photo shop or alter my pictures in any way.

She bend just slightly forward at the hips when standing, and she just looks better with a stand. Then she can stand straight. Hope that helps, I guess that was all a bit confusing.
