Vintage 1950's Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Wearing Bridal set 0980 with box. Presented here is a fabulous 1950's Madame Alexander Cissette doll.

The doll is brunette with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, very nice condition. The eyes open and close freely, they looks hazel color to me, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, pierced ears with pearl earrings.

The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. Her gown is #0980 with the original box.

It includes the gown which has a lace bodice and full net skirt, taffeta full slip, taffeta panties, matching veil with lily-of-the-valley head piece (with elastic chin strap), bridal bouquet that ties to the wrist with satin ribbon. Her shoes are the original Cissette shoes which are molded plastic with bows. The clothing is all in excellent condition with no damage, clean, sturdy, the dress has nice crisp body. The box has some minor edge wear Stunning! She looks like Liz Taylor in her vintage wedding gown. The written description is based on my opinion and observation of the item.
