Vintage Cissy Madame Alexander Doll Dressed for the Theatre Outfit Chemise Tags
1956 Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. A beautiful Cissy doll dressed in her "Dressed for the Theatre" outfit. She is in very good condition. She has very pretty green eyes and a nicely set hair which appears to be in its original style. There are some areas around her ears where you can see glue residue.
Her body is well strung, and she has a tiny crack at her neck beneath her left ear. Her sleep eyes do not close when she is laying down and I would think she may have a problem with her neck because of it but she can hold all kinds of poses with her head.
I have so many great photos of her with different looks with different head poses. She is fun to photograph. If I don't already have it, I will take pictures for you. She is marked Alexander on the back of her neck.
Her "Dressed for the Theatre" outfit is in good condition yet the white satin coat has a few age stains on the top left shoulder and on the right side in the top front. The bow is faded and there is also a small bleed of the blue lining on the bottom right corner in the front. It does not have any tears and has a working snap at the top.
The tagged aqua taffeta dress is in beautiful condition. Beneath it she wears a satin pink slip and a tagged lace and satin chemise that zips in the back. It is in excellent condition yet may be missing attached underwear based on some other photos I looked at. She also comes with two garter belts, stockings and shoes.
The stockings are torn at the toes, and the right one has a stain and another tear in the front calf area. The shoes are not original to her outfit but included and in good condition. I also have a purple net snood? That she wears in her hair. I can provide a picture upon request.
It came with her but I did not think to photograph it, as I didn't think it was original to her outfit. Please ask any questions and see pictures closely for best detail.
