Vintage Madame Alexander 8 Little Southern Girl #305 of 1953
This is Little Southern Girl #305 of 1953. She can be seen in Pat Smith's World of Alexander-kins on Page 13. She is a straight leg non-walker. Her Tosca hair is in the original set, she has dark sleep eyes and lovely facial color. She has pink satin pantaloons with white lace trim and a pink ribbon through it. Her half slip is pink satin with white lace trim. Wendy has pink rayon socks and white side-snap shoes. Her dress is 3/4 length white organdy with tucks and lace trim.
It ties in the back with pink satin ribbon. The tag has darkened with age. It could also be tagged Madame Alexander. Her fine straw bonnet has several flowers on it and a white feather. It turns up in the back and ties with pink ribbon under the chin.
She is 67 years old and doing well. She has an Alexander box, but it is not the original. Thanks for looking and please check out my other items.
