Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy, Restoration Project
This is for Cissy restorers only: She has her original true auburn hair, the top of it needs a little work but its a really stunning deep, rich red. Her head is off, I will include a band, BUT- Please note the position of her eyes. They make me nervous as they are loose and a bit wonky, and I will put a little stuffing in her head so you can decide what to do with them.
The facial paint hasnt been redone, though it does look like someone at some point attempted to darken the ones on one side. I have not cleaned this doll at all. I bought the body separately a while back, and it has two issues- it has been repainted, and still needs its final spot sanding and semi gloss coat.
It has a few drips. I planned on doing it myself when i got the body, but no time or space. The second issue is a crotch split. Her arms are a bit grubby and need a clean, and she comes with two very pretty dresses I have had for a long time, neither is tagged, the aqua check for sure is not a factory dress.
The other Im unsure about. They do both have square snaps. If you have ANY questions, if you would like more pictures, whatever, feel free to send me a message.It is really so simple. I get alot of things at estate sales and auctions, so I cannot always attest to former surroundings.
