Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Toreador Outfit In Original Box Outfit # 22-57
I don't believe it has ever been on a doll. Consisting of a long sleeve white lace blouse lined in pale pink organdy. The blouse has a Peter Pan collar, and closes down the front with three rhinestone buttons.
The slacks are black velvet with a gold elastic waistband which is in excellent stretchy condition. They close on the side with 2 snaps. The pink silky waist sash with pearl bead decoration wraps around the waist and snaps with a hidden snap. There are a couple of very light yellow spots on the sash, probably due to age & storage.I'm sure this would come out with a little soak and drip drip dry. The pieces in this outfit are not tagged (I have this outfit as well and they're not tagged either) I do guarantee this set, without question, to be original Madame Alexander Cissy. This was a very popular style back in the 50's. The set is complete and in its original box which is in great condition as well with the original tissue.
