Vintage Madame Alexander Elise Doll In #1750 Regal Bride Gown Tagged. This gown may be viewed on page 19 in the book The Elise Files by Kiley Ruwe Shaw. This gown is a tagged original wedding gown. It is exceptionally stunning and hard to find with the original buckram with lace overlay decorated with velvet flowers and rhinestones headpiece.

The veil is near perfect except for a few tiny pin holes in the lower portion of veil near bottom. The dress has no pin hole issues that I could see, but there is a lot of tulle and I may have missed some tiny holes, but I dont think I did. The petticoat waistline was stretched so I put some darts to keep it from falling down. She wears vintage replacement nylons along with new silver high heels. Her garter belt is original and stretched but will stay up high on her leg.

Her taffeta panties are original to this outfit. Elise's gown is made of exquisite ivory tulle and lace. The gown is made of tulle trimmed with 2 layers of wide scalloped Rachelle lace gathered up in the back at the waist. The gown closes in the back with four working snaps and is decorated with a large satin bow with ribbons cascading down the back.

One square snap is pulling away very slightly from the tulle. Elise has a diamond ring (not adjustable and is a replacement) on as well as her pearl necklace (replacement) and pearl earrings (replacement). Her bridal bouquet is handmade with vintage millinery flowers and tulle. Ive put it together myself and she can hold it or not.

Elise Doll is in beautiful original condition. All joints work well and I see no stress hairlines.

Her body has been cleaned and restrung. These later 1960s dolls came without the wide hips and were originally strung with a rubber band, but an elastic cord has been used instead. Her blue sleep eyes open and close with ease and are clear and shiny. Her face paint is original with a little added blush only. Her blonde hair has been cleaned and restyled in its intended original style. New clear plastic bands have been added.

Hairpins hold curls in back. Her body colors are nice even matching colors along with her face flesh tone. She matches well, no fading at all. Elise will come with a doll stand so she can be readily enjoyed. The book referenced is not part of this sale.
