Vintage Madame Alexander Maggie Walker Doll Original Academy Fashion Award Medal

For your consideration I have this stunning vintage 1951 Madame Alexander Maggie Walker doll. She is a 14 ro 14 1/2 tall doll and she is beautiful. She is wearing blue gingham pattern taffeta dress with rhinestone trim. The outfit is a full circle skirt with a one piece bodysuit underneath. Her hair doesn't appear to have been combed. She has her orginal box of curlers still in the box and never taken off the cardboard. Her Maggie Walker fold out is also within the curler and comb box. She may be a teenage Maggie, I'm not sure.

She also has her Fashion Award Medal hanging from her wrist. It looks to be a type of brass or other metal.

Her head still turns when she walks. She is wearing her vintage socks and red center snap shoes with the fuzzy bottom. I have not undressed her. She is just as I found today.

She does have one dark spot in her wig on the back where the glue has possibly darkened. Her hairbow looks to have faded from it's original color. I would consider her to be in minty nice condition. I strive to accurately describe all items I sell as your satisfaction is very important to me.
